Yogasūtras Chapter 4

Yoga is transformational. But why? And how?

Chapter 4 of Patañjali’s Yogasūtras answers both why and how Yoga can transform your life.

We will go word-by-word, sūtra-by-sūtra, through Chapter 4 of Patañjali’s Yogasūtras, translating its wisdom and exploring its application in daily life.

Patañjali’s Yogasūtras have been passed down from teacher to student for 1700 years, and this Course will follow that tradition providing you the necessary support of an experienced teacher, translating the principles in the text into real concepts, so you may fully grasp its richness and depth, and apply these teachings to your life.

This is far more than just translating the text into English.

Called the Kaivalya pāda, the chapter on freedom, Chapter 4 provides insights not only how transformation can take place, but also the process of guiding others through their own transformational process.  This text is particularly valuable for Yoga Teachers, Yoga Therapists, spiritual leaders, and those in a position to help others heal.
