Discovering Āyurveda

An Introduction to Balance & Natural Wellness

Āyurveda can guide you on a path towards improving your health, establishing balance & wellness in your life, and connecting you with your purpose.

Through a foundational understanding of Āyurveda, you will develop a deeper relationship with your body, mind, and spirit. Āyurveda’s personalized and holistic approach to natural health will guide you on the path to becoming the most authentic you.

This class is the first step.

Over 8 weeks, you will learn how this ancient Indian science of self-healing looks at your unique characteristics through the basic principles of the 5 elements: space, wind, fire, water, & earth. Elizabeth’s classes have been very informative as she breaks down the information in a way that is easy to understand & applicable to daily life. What You Will Learn

In learning the key principles and practices of Āyurveda, you will begin to gain awareness of how aspects of your life – like your sleeping pattern, diet, and ways you choose to relax – all influence your well-being.

This awareness coupled with your teacher’s guidance and support will help you explore the uniqueness of your self-health and the different ways you can naturally honor it.

The exploration of this class includes:

Weeks 1-3: An introduction to Āyurveda, macrocosms vs. microcosms, 5 elements, the 3 doshas & their qualities, and a quiz to identify your doshic tendencies.

Weeks 4-6: A closer exploration of each of the 3 doshas  (Vatta, Pitta, & Kapha) and how they look in and out of balance.

Weeks 7-8: Guidance on how to come back into balance & stay there based on your dosha type and a review of the dosha quiz and how your perspective has changed after the course.
