Spirituality in Yoga:
Īśvara praṇidhāna

Yoga starts with the premise that you are a spiritual being having a human experience. But, unfortunately, the material aspects of your humanness have inappropriately taken over, and are taking you away from your life’s true purpose.

In this light, Yoga is a spiritual practice and a way of turning daily living into a divine path. The process of Yoga helps us uncover an inner presence and develop an ever more intimate relationship with it

Over time, as we muster the courage to trust its guidance, and are increasingly able to act in alignment with our intuition, our experience of life shifts. The events of our life take on new meaning, purpose, and joy return, and the mundane becomes extraordinary. This is the spirituality of Yoga, the practice that quite literally creates a sacred shift of perspective and offers a path to transforming our suffering and liberating our life.

In the Spirituality in Yoga: Īśvara praṇidhāna workshop students will explore the qualities of Īśvara, how īśvara praṇidhāna can become an ongoing practice in daily life, and the results of developing an unwavering faith through the practice of Yoga.

The Spirituality in Yoga: Īśvara praṇidhāna workshop will take place on Wednesday, July 20th at 4:30pm PT. A recording of the workshop will be available in the Student Portal for 90 days after the live Workshop completes.
